MULTI FUNCTION DISPLAY (MFD)

Multifunction Display (MFD)

The VBOX Multifunction Display connects to the CAN port of the VBOX.

It is designed to show a large number of different variables and results on a clear backlit LCD display that can be mounted on the windscreen. There is an optional heavy duty rubber suction cup which screws into the back of the display via a standard camera tripod style fixing.

The display can be used to show velocity, distance, lap times, g-forces, temperatures, time between speeds, any CAN parameter, and many more (see below) all in real time without the need for a laptop.

In addition, the display has a target screen which shows a bar graph of any parameter, alongside a configurable target. This is very useful for maintaining a steady brake pedal pressure, or deceleration rate during a brake stop.

The Multifunction display can be setup from the display itself, or via the Windows VBOX software.
